Overview

The Store Information section allows you to manage and update your core business details that appear on customer receipts, online ordering platforms, and internal reports. Keeping this information accurate is essential for customer trust, operational consistency, and ensuring customers can find and contact you.

Who is this guide for?

  • Store Owners & Administrators responsible for maintaining official business details.

  • Managers overseeing store setup and branding consistency.

  • Staff who need to ensure customers receive correct information.

Before You Begin

  • Permissions: Your user role must have administrative permissions to edit store-level settings.

  • Data Accuracy: Have your correct, official business details on hand for reference.

  • Impact: Be aware that changes here may affect your receipts, online store details, and third-party integrations (like Google Business Profile).

Information You Can Update:

  • Store Name: Your store name as customers see it

  • Address: Physical location including street, city, state

  • Postal Code: Postal code for your store

  • Contact Number: Store phone number

Step-by-Step: How to Update Store Information

Step 1: Access Store Settings

  1. Open the EPOS360 app on your device.

  2. Tap "More" in the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Tap on "Settings."

  4. Tap on "Store." You will now see your current store information fields.

Step 2: Edit Your Information

Tap on any field to edit it. The key information you can update includes:

  • Store Name: Your official business name as you want it to appear to customers.

    • Tip: Use the exact name customers would recognize.

  • Address: Your full physical location (e.g., Unit Number, Street Name).

  • Postal Code: Your store's postal code.

    • Note: This is critical for location-based services and mapping.

  • Contact Number: The primary phone number customers can call.

    • Best Practice: Use a dedicated business line, not a personal mobile number.

Step 3: Save Changes

  1. Carefully review all entries for accuracy, spelling, and formatting.

  2. Once confirmed, tap the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen.

Best Practices

  • Consistency is Key: Ensure your store name, address, and phone number match exactly across your EPOS360 system, Google My Business, social media profiles, and other directories.

  • Receipt Preview: After saving, process a test receipt (or use a preview function if available) to verify the new information prints correctly.

  • Online Store Sync: If you have an EPOS360 Online Store, note that changes here may take a few minutes to sync and appear on your public ordering site.
