Update Online Store Operating Hours

This guide explains how to set, modify, and manage your online store's operating hours. Properly configured hours ensure customers can only place orders when you are open and staffed to fulfill them, managing expectations and maintaining service quality.

Before You Begin

  • Permissions: You need access to manage online store settings.

  • Plan Your Schedule: Decide your standard weekly hours and note any days with split shifts (e.g., a mid-day break) or special closures.

  • Service Types: Determine if your Dine-in and Pickup services have identical hours or different ones.


How to Access Operating Hours Settings

  1. Open your EPOS360 Merchant App.

  2. Tap "Sell" in the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Select the "Online" tab to access your store dashboard.

  4. Tap "Online Settings"

  5. Tap "Edit" beside operating hours


How to Set Your Basic Operating Hours

Follow these steps to configure the standard opening and closing times for each day of the week.

  1. Select a Day to Configure

    1. You will see a list from Monday to Sunday.

    2. Tap on any day to expand its settings panel.

  2. Close a day

    1. To close for a day, toggle "OFF" beside the day

  3. Set the Start and End Time

    1. For the selected day:

      1. Tap the "Start Time" field. A time picker will appear.

      2. Scroll or type to set your opening time (e.g., 08:00 AM).

      3. Tap the "End Time" field and set your closing time (e.g., 10:00 PM)

    2. The store will accept orders between these times.

  4. Save Your Changes

    1. After configuring, tap "Update Operating Hours" at bottom of the screen. Changes are not active until saved.


How to Use the Split Hours Feature

Use this for days where you close for a break in the middle (e.g., between lunch and dinner service).

Example Schedule: Open 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM, closed, then reopen 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

  1. Activate Split Hours for the Day

    1. On the desired day's panel, find and tap on the "Split Hours" button.

  2. Configure the First Session

    1. Set the First Session Start Time (e.g., 11:00 AM).

    2. Set the First Session End Time (e.g., 02:30 PM).

  3. Configure the Second Session

    1. Set the Second Session Start Time (e.g., 05:00 PM).

    2. Set the Second Session End Time (e.g., 09:00 PM).

โš ๏ธ Note: The system will automatically block order times between the two sessions.
