  • Authorized Persons (e.g., directors, partners, significant shareholders) who will manage the merchant account and payments.

Before You Begin

A valid and updated Singpass account with the latest personal and entity information.
Your business entity must be registered and in good standing with ACRA.
A compatible payment device (BlueTap or N950) and a smartphone.
Access to your registered email and mobile number linked to Singpass.

Step-by-Step Account Creation Guide

Step 1: Initiate Setup & Connect Your Device

  1. Open the EPOS360 Merchant App or scan the QR code on your payment device.

  2. Tap "Create an Account."

  3. The app will detect if it's connected to a payment device.

    • If connected: You will proceed to the Terms & Conditions.

    • If not connected: Scan the QR code on your BlueTap or N950 device to pair it.

Step 2: Review & Accept Terms

  1. Read the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy carefully.

  2. Tick the checkbox to agree.

  3. Tap "Proceed."

Step 3: Verify Identity with Singpass

  1. You will be redirected to the Singpass app.

  2. Log in and approve the request for EPOS360 to retrieve your personal and entity information.
⚠️ Important: You must approve this request. Clicking "Reject" will block the process. To retry, tap OK and restart from "Create an Account."

Step 4: Create Your EPOS360 Login

  1. The app will use your personal email from Singpass. Check this inbox.

  2. Create a secure password for your EPOS360 Owner Account.

  3. If no email is retrieved: You will be prompted to add and verify an email address using an OTP.

Step 5: Verify Contact Number & Biometric Identity

  1. The app will send an SMS OTP to the mobile number from your Singpass.

  2. Enter the OTP to verify your phone.

  3. If no number is retrieved: Manually add and verify your contact number.

  4. Finally, use your phone's camera to confirm your biometric identity (a live photo for verification).

Step 6: Confirm Business Owner Information

This step consolidates ownership details retrieved from ACRA via Singpass.

  1. Review the list of directors, partners, or shareholders.

  2. For entities with multiple owners: You may need to provide contact details and designate Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs).

    • Sole proprietors, partners, and shareholders with >25% ownership are automatically tagged as UBOs.

    • You can manually tick the UBO checkbox for other relevant persons (e.g., directors with significant control).

    • To add a UBO not listed, tap "Add Ultimate Beneficial Owner."

  3. Information from Singpass is not editable here. To update, you must first amend the details in your Singpass/ACRA records.

  4. If you already have an ANEXT bank account, you may skip parts of this step.

Step 7: Provide Entity & Financial Information

  1. Select an Authorizer: If your entity has more than one director/shareholder, select an additional person to authorize this application.

  2. Complete the Application Form:

    • Entity Details: Your business operation address will be used as your store address. Your business alias will be your brand name.

    • Financial & Tax Information: Fill in all required fields. Your declared SSIC code will be cross-checked with your assigned Merchant Category Code (MCC) by the payment provider.

  3. Tap "Continue"

Step 8: Final Review & Submission

  1. Carefully review all provided entity and personal information.

  2. To edit manually entered details, tap the back arrow (←) to return to the previous step.

  3. Information pulled from Singpass cannot be edited here. Ensure it is correct in Singpass before proceeding.

  4. Once confirmed, tap "Submit Application"

Step 9: Sign In & Monitor Application Status

  1. You can now sign in to your EPOS360 account using the registered owner's email and password.

  2. From your dashboard, you can monitor:

    • Payment Service Application Status

    • ANEXT Business Saving Account Status

  3. Under "Business Owners ID Verification & Authorisation Status": Track the verification progress of shareholders/UBOs.

  4. If additional information is requested by ANEXT bank or the payment provider, you will see a prompt (e.g., "Additional Information For Bank"). Tap to view and upload the required documents.

  5. The app will notify you if any submitted information needs amending, highlighting only the specific fields to correct.

Troubleshooting

  1. My application is delayed. What should I do?
Delays are often due to pending verification. Check the status section in your dashboard. Ensure all UBOs have completed their identity checks. Respond promptly to any requests for additional documents.

  1. I made a mistake in my manually entered information. How do I edit it?
Before final submission, use the back arrow (←) to navigate to the relevant step. After submission, you can only amend information if the payment provider or bank requests a correction via the notification in your dashboard.

  1. How do I update information sourced from Singpass (e.g., business address)?
A: You must update the information at its source via the Singpass portal or relevant government agency (e.g., ACRA). Once updated, you may need to contact EPOS360 support to refresh the data pull for your application.

  2. I didn't receive the email OTP. What now?
A: Check your spam/junk folder. Ensure the email address entered is correct. You can request a new OTP. If problems persist, contact support.

  3. What happens after I submit?
A: Your application undergoes parallel processing: 1) ANEXT Bank verifies details for your business saving account, and 2) the Payment Service Provider reviews your merchant account for payment processing. You will be notified separately for each upon approval.
